He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Kearns and Isabelle Kearns (Specht); his wife Joann L. Kearns (Fisher); his children, Russell Kearns, Jeffrey Kearns and Sandra McMillan; his siblings, Rick Kearns, George Kearns, Mary Klase and Roy Kearns; and his grandson Jarred Kearns.
He is survived by: his children, Norman Kearns Jr. (Diane Breya) of McClure, Paul Kearns of Lewistown, Douglas Kearns of McConnellsburg, Wanda Duncan of Lewistown and Gregory Kearns of McConnellsburg; his sister Barbara Hower (Norman) of Lewistown; and his grandchildren, Christa Sechler, Danielle Kearns Campbell, Shawn Kearns, Paul 'Chuck Kearns, Jr., Joseph McMillan III, Jeannie Weller, Jessica Kearns, Rachell Kratzer, Ayla Hetrick, Nathan Kearns and Bethany Kearns. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
