With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nicole Michele Augustine (Lewistown, Pennsylvania), born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 21, 2024 at the age of 44. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Augustine and Rebecca Heisler (McDowell); and her grandparents, Robert, Arlene McDowell and Marjorie Augustine.
She is survived by: her brothers, Derek Heisler (Rachel) and Anthony Augustine (Kayla Frye); her nephew Brayden; her niece Harper; her aunt Vicky McDowell; and also Melissa Maxwell. She is also survived by many cousins, extended family, close friends and coworkers.
Nicole asked that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Rescue Our Furry Friends where she served as Treasurer for several years.
