She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Dewey and Rosie Mae Host; her husband William W. Carter, Jr.; her siblings, Evelyn G. Bedlyon, Betty M. Naylor and Napoleon B. Host; and her great grandchild Melissa Collins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Mae Hassinger of Lewistown and Brenda McCardle of Lewistown; her grandchildren, Brian Hassinger, Terry "Lynn" Hassinger and Robert Corson; her great grandchildren, Paige Yohn, Angela Myers, Hayley Corson, Conner D. Stewart, Alexis Corson, Aroum Corson, Dekoda Stewart, Xzavier Hassinger and Alex Corson; her great great grandchild Karley Yohn; and her sister Myrtle Ruth McNitt.
