He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard C. Redmond and Theresa Culbertson (Mallione); his wife Linda Redmond (White); and his stepfather Horace Culbertson. He is survived by: his children, Michael Barton Redmond II (Carissa) of Mooresville, N. C. and Micheline Ertley (Derick) of Reedsville; his grandchildren, Ilsa, Elliott Redmond, Ryland and Oliver Ertley; his brothers, Leonard Redmond (Shelley) of Baltimore and Patrick Redmond (Wendy) of New Hampshire; his stepmother Joan Redmond; and his sister-in-law Margaret Dimoff (Greg) of Mount Union. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews who will miss Uncle.
