Mertie C. Forsythe Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Colyer M. Solt and Myrtle P. Solt (Snyder); her son David K Forsythe Jr.; her son-in-law William'Bill'Benny; and her siblings, Laura Kuhns, Joan Sherman, Lloyd, Cloyd, Ray (Jack) and James.
She is survived by: her significant other David K. Forsythe Sr.; her daughters, Mertie'Kay'Benny and Cindy Kratzer (Norman); her daughter-in-law Patti Forsythe; her grandchildren, Penny Foster (Daniel), Sally Walters (Michael), Todd Benny (Cathy), Eric Forsythe (Michelle), Gail Forsythe (James Kirk), Ryan Benny (Lori Yingling), Brandi Fisher (Shawn Edminston) and Jeremy Rhodes; her siblings, Velma Fultz (Solt) of Burnham and Glen Solt of Lewistown; and her caregiver Pam Grenninger. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Vira Methodist Cemetery (111 Long Ln, Lewistown, PA 17044). A memorial service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Freedom Avenue United Methodist Church (513 E Freedom Ave, Burnham, PA 17009).
