She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Florence Mae Mitchell (Lynch); her husband James Donald Shirk; her son Donald Lee Shirk; her grandson Stevie Marker; and her son-in-law Steve Marker.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Lee Leeper (John) of Lewistown, Cindy Lu Marker of Reedsville, James Donald Shirk Jr. (Lisa) of Lewistown and Ronald Lee Shirk (Penny) of Lewistown; and her brother Richard (Dick). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
