He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Metzger and Jean M. Metzger (McAllister). He is survived by: his wife Rosalyn Metzger (Seby); his daughter Lisa Metzger of State College; and his siblings, William Metzger (Josie) of Nevada, Stephen Metzger (Lynn) of Virginia, David Metzger of Harrisburg, James Metzger (Terri) of Pittsburgh and Anne Lloyd (Russ) of Nebraska.
