She was predeceased by: her parents, Colyer Monroe and Myrtle Solt (Snyder); her husband Karl K. Sherman Jr.; her daughter Wendy K. Sherman; and her siblings, Ray Solt Sr., Cloyd, Lloyd, James Solt and Laura Kuhns (Solt).
She is survived by: her children, Karl K. Sherman III (Kimberly Wright) of Lewistown, Charlotte Knepp (Scott) of Lewistown and Carrie Shaffer (Richard) of Lewistown; her granddaughters, Maggie Dowen (Michael), Janie Weaver (George) and Amber Wright; her great grandchildren, Lucy, Alex Dowen and Miyah Yetter; and her siblings, Mertie Forsythe of Lewistown, Velma Fultz of Burnham and Glen Solt of Lewistown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Joan's memory may be made to Calvary Bible Church, 100 Calvary Lane, Lewistown, PA 17044.
