He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel N. Sr. Hoar and Anna E. Hoar (Bulick). He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Hoar (Bossert); his daughter Tiffany B. Amspacker (Darren) of Lewistown; his stepson Seth Klinger of Lewistown; and his siblings, Gary W. Hoar (Anna) of Lewistown, Judy McAlister (Rick) of Port Royal, Shelby Wolfley of Milroy, Stephen Hoar of Lewistown and Keith Hoar (Beth) of Lewistown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
