He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter W. "Pete" and Joan Sweitzer (Wagner); his wife Teresa M. Sweitzer; his siblings, Abby Pennebaker and Eugene Sweitzer; and his brother-in-law Bob Gardner.
He is survived by: his children, Marty Sweitzer of Granville, Eric Yoder of Belleville, Billi Jo Goss (Greg) of Milroy, Matthew Yoder (Tammy) of Mass and Ryan J. Sweitzer of Port Matilda; and his sisters, Tonya Gardner of Belltown, Rose Glenney (Alvin) of York and JoAnn Sweitzer (Michelle) of Lewistown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
