He was predeceased by: his father Donald Howard; his son James T. Rose Jr.; and his siblings, Blair R. "Did" Rose, Beverly J. Dean, Donald and Shirley.
He is survived by: his mother Evelyn Rose (Gloss); his children, Chrissa L. Hebert (Max) of Hartstown, PA and Jeffrey T. Rose (Tiffany) of Spring Mills; his granddaughter Brittany Rose; his siblings, Russell K. Rose (Carrol) of Lock Port and Karen R. Hagans (Ed) of Lewistown; his half-brother Scott; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Fultz and Donna Eaton (Fultz).
