He was predeceased by: his sister Rosie Hopple. He is survived by: his parents, Charles Hopple and Mabel Hopple (Weaver); and his siblings, Wesley Hopple (Mary) of Mexico and Jay Hopple (Nellie) of Lewistown. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
