It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert B. Hamilton Jr. of Lewistown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Herbert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert B. Hamilton Sr. and Sara Hamilton (Siebert); and his siblings, Clarence W. Hamilton, Helen J.'Honey'Hamilton and Elsie Mae Ramsey.

He is survived by: his wife Caroline'Rea' Hamilton (Faulds); his son Herbert B. Hamilton III of Cleveland, Ohio; and his sister Ruth Broome (Robert) of Lewistown.

Viewing was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes (200 N Main St, Lewistown, PA 17044). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Rock Cemetery (9 S Dorcas St, Lewistown, PA 17044).
