He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ivan'Ike'McCardle and Catherine McCardle (Cleck); his daughter Mary Catherine'Cathy'McCardle; and his brother Edward McCardle. He is survived by: his wife Irene R. McCardle (Lindenberger); his children, Guy D.'Gyke'McCardle (Marjorie) of Burnham, Peggy D. McCardle (Michael O'Mara) of Florida and Harvard K. McCardle (Genevieve) of Lewistown; and his sister Joyce Rodenbaugh. He is also survived by many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home (108 1st Ave, Burnham, PA 17009). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at the Mount Rock Cemetery.
