He was predeceased by: his mother Despina Yelagotes; his son-in-law Gabriel Gatti; his father James Yelagotes; and his sister Dawn Giordas. He is survived by: his wife Zaferula Valudes Yelagotes; his daughters, Melissa Vulopas (Joseph), Dana Keares (Demetrius) and Elizabeth Gatti (Randall Stevens); his grandchildren, Papou, Jamison Vulopas, Ava Vulopas, Austin Keares, Parker Keares, Julian Gatti and Ivan Gatti; and his sister Themis Karamanos. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
