Gene Brown Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Brown of Lewistown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 12, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene B. Brown and Laura Brown (Weikel); and his sister Janet Horner. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Brown (Bingman); his children, Kim Moist (Greg) of McVeytown and Kraig Brown of San Francisco, CA; his brother Tom Brown of Berkley Springs, WV; his sister-in-law Sue Bingman of Yeagertown; his grandchildren, Kelsey Laub (Ryan) of Lewistown and Kolby Moist (Dani) of McVeytown; his great grandchildren, Brayden Laub, Aubrey Laub, Evan, Owen and Willow Moist; his niece Kathy Zeigler; and his nephews, Roger Brown, Sean, Eric Fagan, Mike and Allen Bingman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gene's memory to Memorial Fund c/o Rhodes Memorial United Methodist Church.
