It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary R. Mitchell of Lewistown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 6, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clell E. Mitchell and Audrey L. Mitchell (Wolfley); and his wife Shirley Mitchell' (Weiand). He is survived by: his children, Gary, Frank Weiand of Yeagertown, Dwight Mitchell, Michael Mitchell (Leslie), Leroy Mitchell of Lewistown, Nicole Wise of Linden and Shawn Wise of McAlisterville; and his siblings, Margaret Habbershon of Lewistown and Stanley Mitchell. He is also survived by many loving grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
