He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gilbert and Josephine Gilbert (Miller); and his sister Gloria Boyer. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Gilbert (Cherry); his children, Timothy Gilbert (Amy) of Lewistown and Tina Rittenhouse (Keith) of McVeytown; his grandchildren, Rylie Shoemaker (Cade), Joshua Rittenhouse (Kristin), Hanna and Halle Rittenhouse; his great grandchild Lily Rittenhouse; and his brother Gary Gilbert (Donna) of Abbottstown.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lewistown Alliance Church (50 Hudson Ave, Lewistown, PA 17044). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
