It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Frances Cowan of Lewistown, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 91, on June 25, 2020. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis W. Yoder and Dorothy M. Yoder (Fagan); her siblings, Esther Kauffman and Clyde Yoder; and her son-in-law Thomas Abbott.
She is survived by: her husband Myron J. Cowan of Lewistown; her children, Susan M. Abbott of Lewistown, Robert L. Cowan (Carol Metzler) of Elizabethtown and Ronald M. Cowan (Gayle) of Lewistown; her grandchildren, Shanna Cowan (Harry Hasting), Casey Cowan (Jolene Mattis) and Amanda Biddle-Hile (Orris); and her siblings, Sarah Espigh of Lewistown, Nannie Irvin of Mattawana, Robert Yoder of Reedsville and Ronald Yoder of Mattawana. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 the family would like to be especially careful during this time and will not be scheduling a social gathering following the service.
