She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Attivo and Mary Attivo (Ascione); her husband Richard K. "Dick" McCartney; her grandson Sean McCartney; her siblings, Ralph, Albert, Joseph Attivo, Rose Palmeri, Anne Attivo, Thelma Attivo and Helen Dixon; and her daughter-in-law Mary McCartney.
She is survived by: her children, R. Daniel McCartney (Kathy) of Lewistown, Kathy Shively (Jim) of Shippensburg and Timothy A. McCartney of Mechanicsburg; her grandchildren, Jennifer Wilkes, Ryan McCartney (Kylene), Kristina Younker (Jason), Lauren McCartney and Leah McCartney; and her great grandchildren, Darian, Camren, Keaton and Avery.
