She was predeceased by: her parents, John A. Ritter and Minnie Ritter (Ruble); her husband Lewis E. Earnest Sr.; and her siblings, William E. Ritter, John A. Ritter Jr., Sarah A. Elder, Aretta Yocum Webber and Clara Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Delores Yohn (Larry) of Reedsville, Lewis E. Earnest Jr. (Maureen) of Lewistown, Richard Earnest (Melanie) of Yeagertown and Connie Jones (Rick) of Milroy. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-great-grandchildren.
