He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Frey and Marie H. Frey (Oshell); his wife Rosellen Frey (Druckenmiller); his sisters, Bonnie Dillon and Marjory McMillion; and his brothers-in-law, Gordon Dillon, Herman McMillion and Frank DeArment.
He is survived by: his children, Brian D. Frey (Heidi L. King) and Amy F. (David Carrier); his grandchildren, Zane D., Olivia Frey of Lewistown, Logan Spicher of Lewistown and Leyla Gulomova of Lynchburg, VA; his great grandchildren, Emmah, Halle and Kenadee Frey; and his sister-in-law Marilyn DeArment of Lewistown. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
He was recognized in 2012 by the PA Governor for his engineering skill and contributions to many community projects such as the recycling program, Recreation Park expansion, Kish Creek River Walk and later, Fountain Square.
