He was predeceased by: his parents, E. Marie McLaughlin (Steltzer) and Fern L. McLaughlin; his wife Virginia W. McLaughlin (Kearns); and his siblings, Dorothy Laughlin and Robert McLaughlin.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jean Rose of Bellefonte, Nancy Barnes of Burnham and Helen Searer of Mifflintown; his children, Randy A. McLaughlin (Karen) of Enola and Lisa N. Geedey (Richard) of Lewistown; and his granddaughters, Emilee Runk (Adam) of Lewistown, Hannah Geedey (Aimee Seitz) of Lewistown and Ellyn Geedey (Tyson Dippery) of Lewistown. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
