She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter A. DeVerter and Esther L. DeVerter (Moore); her siblings, Elizabeth "Betty" Pasternack and Walter F. DeVerter; and her grandchildren, Bernie and Seth Frymyer.
She is survived by: her husband Bernard G. Bratton; her children, Stuart Hess (Michelle) of Lewistown, Barbara Phillips (Zeke) of Lewistown and Brian Hess (Kimber) of Greensburg; her sister Helen Kline of Doylestown; her grandchildren, Dylan Frymyer, Meredith Stout (Adam), Alysen Gipe (Joseph), Austin Hess (Saundra), Kristen Hess, Brooke and Bree Hess; and her great grandchildren, Noah, Abigail Stout, Stella and Ryatt Gipe.
