He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine G. (Johnson) and Sheriff of Union County; his half-siblings, Jack Casselberry of Mechanicsburg, Roger Haas of McEwensville, Kenneth Haas of Arlington, VA, Clark Haas of Lewisburg, Helen Straub (Casselberry) of Milton, Patricia Day (Casselberry) of Williamsport and Virginia Fisher (Casselberry); and also Travis Joy of Massachusetts.

He is survived by: his fiancée Donna Joy; his children, Lisa Lutcher (Craig) of McEwensville, Kelli Haas of Augusta, GA and William Haas (Terri) of Milton; his fiancée's child Thomas Joy (Teresa) of Mount Pleasant Mills; and his grandchildren, Erica Lutcher (Sunny) of McEwensville, Shawnee Lutcher of Milton, Bahram Khamnei of Arlington, VA and Bayley Brion of Milton. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
