With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Joyce Day of Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, born in Turbotville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 31, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence "Pete" William and Alice Margaret Gessner (Berge); her former husband Harold Eugene Day; her children, Roger Day and Shelia Fisher; and her siblings, Sherman Gessner, Albert Gessner, Earl Gessner and Mildred Sherwood.
She is survived by: her daughter Diane Reichley of Winfield; her husband Day Excavating; her son-in-law Galen Reichley of Winfield; her grandchildren, Tara Handy of Mechanicsburg, Sara, John Murmello of Pittsburg, Travis Day of Texas, Jason (Maura Fisher) of Kreamer and Ryan Fisher (Laine Nornhold) of Freeburg; her stepgrandson Michael (Christy Fisher) of Pittsburgh; and her sister-in-law Dale (Joyce Gessner).
