We bid farewell to Margaret E. Beekman of Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, born in Lake View, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 3, 2024 at the age of 102. Margaret touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Margaret may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Margaret touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest G. Scharnke and Williamenia Scharnke (Hoss); her husband Stewart M. Beekman; and her son Donald Stewart Beekman. She is survived by: her son Kenneth; her daughter-in-law Connie Beekman of Raleigh, NC; and her daughter Janet Beekman Owens of State College. She is also survived by six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
