With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jacob F. Engle of Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on October 9, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Benjamin and Maude T. Engle (Troxell); and his siblings, Paul, Richard, George, Arthur, Ruth Clemens, Anna Dersham and Grace Buckley.
He is survived by: his wife Zona G. Showers; his children, Michael Engle of New Columbia, Jeffrey Engle of Mifflinburg, Melissa Engle of Mifflinburg and Valerie Engle of New Berlin; his siblings, Nevin Engle of Zion and Mildred E. Noll of New Columbia; his grandchildren, Laura (Brock Solomon) of Mifflinburg, Andrew Kline of New Berlin and Hannah Wilson of Coudersport; and his great grandchildren, Evan and Greenley Solomon.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the donor's charity of choice in Jacob's name.
