She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Kunkle and Ethel Kunkle (Angstadt); her son William M. Showers; her brother Charles Kunkle Jr.; her grandson Michael Showers; and her boyfriend Jim E. Fisher.
She is survived by: her son James; her daughter-in-law Emily Showers of New Columbia; her daughter Sharon Frederick of Middleburg; her grandchildren, Matthew Showers, Lindsey McAnnaney, Melissa Fisher, Whitney Renner, Jason Showers and Jordan Frederick; and her stepgrandchildren, Kayla, Ryan Deivert and Sierra Dempsey. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests contributions in Carolyn's memory be made to Lincoln Chapel United Methodist Church, 2350 Paddy Mountain Rd. Millmont, PA 17845.
