She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Renninger and Mary Pierson; her husband C. David Bird; her grandson Shawn Heimbach; her son-in-law Harold Everitt; and her sister Mildred Sneeder.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Everitt of Selinsgrove and Davene Ross (Edward) of Mifflinburg; and her grandchildren, Wendy Cole Sassaman, William Cole, Shellie Heimbach Peters and Melissa Heimbach Monblatt. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
