He is survived by: his wife Marian Hammond (Krahling); his son Phillip R. Hammond, Jr. (Deborah) of Virginia Beach, VA; his grandchildren, Alexander Hammond (Kayla), Lydia Hammond, Jessica Topuz (Ahmet) and Molly Hammond; his great grandchildren, Lyra and Evren; and his siblings, Edward (Sharon), Doug and Carol Macie (Steve).
