He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Kutz and Winifred Kutz (Black); his brother Ronald J. Kutz; and his brothers-in-law, Joseph Barbee, Charles Barbee and Edward Barbee.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly (Hathaway); his children, Lisa Jensen (Ken), Donna Ermer (Chris), Thomas J. and Brian (Sarah Keeling); his grandchildren, Carley, Zachary Jensen and Kyla Ermer; and his in-laws, Mary Beck, Maynard Hathaway, Barbara Moffo (Eddie) and Jerry Hathaway (Wendy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Hope Lutheran Church or charity of the donor's choice in Tom's name.
