He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Deck and Eva Spoul Deck; his brother George; and his close friend Butch Gay. He is survived by: his wife Colleen J.; his children, Matthew Deck (Tara), Mia, Sophia and Kelley Coyne (Dave); his grandchildren, Keara, Bridget and Connor; his great grandchild Oliver; his brothers, Ervin (Ellen), Billy and Edward Deck (Lettie); his friend Mike Foisy; and also, Erin Magee (Danielle), Devin, Sarah, Liam, Kieran Magee (Bridget), Aidan and Brynn. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family.
