He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey N. J. and Margaret Reinert (Brown); his wife Anna Reinert; and his siblings, Evelyn, Floss, Emma, Josephine and Harvey.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Betty Horner; his children, Deborah Reyes (Juan), Harold "Harry" E. Reinert II (Judy) and Terri L. Grace (Scott); and his grandchildren, Marty, Bruce, Jena, Steven, Marisa, Mark and Robert. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.
