He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Merk and Ethel Merk (Ballendorf); and his brother Edward Merk. He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Leonard); his children, Frank III (Lynn), Maureen (Ron), William (Lisa), Christopher (Colleen), Patricia (Geordan) and Teresa (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Abby, Brett, Courtney, Evan, Billy, Brian, Danny, Jackson, Caroline (Tanner), Connor, Collin, Graham, Quinn and Declan; his brothers, James Merk and Charles Merk; and his sister-in-law Jean Py Merk. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
