He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Ortiz; his children, Vanessa Ortiz (Andrew Myers) and Gabriel Ortiz (Brianna Pone); his granddaughter Elena Ortiz; and his siblings, Lino, Heber, Blandina Ortiz, Margarita Holtgeerts and Manuela Velasco. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
