She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Gay and Stella Gay (Waugh); her parents-in-law, Peter and Mary Filipek (Kushmeder); her siblings, Ruth Gay, Samuel Gay, Edith Stafford, Merle Gay, Grace Mynuk, Albert Gay, Jim Gay, Opal Byrd, Stearl Gay, Jr. and Madge Fair; and her brother-in-law Louis Joseph Stankevich.
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Stankevich; her sister Pat Sharp of Burgnaw, NC; and her pet Charlie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Jean's memory to Alzheimer's Association, American Heart Association or S.P.C.A.
