She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Lakata and Anna Lakata; her siblings, Joseph Lakata of Nesquehoning, Frank Lakata of Philadelphia and Margaret Marouchoc of Nesquehoning; and her husband John W. McConnell.
She is survived by: her brother Thomas Lakata of Nesquehoning; and her grandchildren, John McConnell, Jason Taylor (Aimee), Jared Taylor (Courtney), Thomas McConnell (Christina), Kristine Collins (Christopher), Robert Taylor, Michael McConnell, Kaitlin Maldonado (Anthony), Daniel Taylor (Erica) and Lauren Taylor. She is also survived by Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
