He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anthony DiNunzio and Maria R. Minni DiNunzio; his wife Helen Mae; his children, Dominick (Deborah) of Quarryville, Mark (Susan) of Lititz, Douglas of Levittown and Celeste Hartzell (Edward) of Levittown; and his brothers, Dr. Lewis DiNunzio (Joann) and Dr. John DiNunzio (Connie). He was also cherished by ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He established the Lewis Hobbs Foundation on campus, recognizing Lewis Hobbs as one of the founders of Millersville Normal School.
