He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Sr. McKale and Catherine McKale; and his siblings, Harold B. McKale, Jr., George McKale and Joan Szafranski (Joe Szafranski).

He is survived by: his wife Sue; and his sisters-in-law, Eileen McKale and Pat McKale. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
