She was predeceased by: her husband John Dougherty; and her granddaughter Tessa. She is survived by: her sisters, Dee and Theresa; her brother-in-law Bob; her daughter Nicole; her grandchildren, Collin and Haylee; her great grandchild Charlotte; her grandchildren, Tyler, Grace, Kacie and Lily; her daughter Jodie; her son-in-law Harry; her grandson Josh; and her stepchildren, Johnny, Janet, Jimmy, Sandy, Steven and Kim. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org, a cause Betty cared strongly about and donated once a month.
