We are sad to announce that on May 27, 2024, at the age of 77, Assunte Hesson of Levittown, Pennsylvania, born in Trenton, New Jersey passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Assunte Hesson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Assunte Plebani and Joseph Plebani. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Hesson; her daughters, Michelle Walcott (Fred) and Mandy Hesson (Steve); her brothers, Michael Plebani (Kathy) and Vincent Plebani (Sherri); her grandchildren, Christopher Hathaway (Stephanie), Marc Messenger (Jamie), Brianna Ziegelhofer (Mike), Steven Mosco, Devon Hathaway and Connor Hathaway (Destyni); and her great grandchildren, Hayden, Weston, Keelan, Callie and Hudson.

Her career as a pharmacy technician at Jefferson Bucks Hospital spanned an incredible 56 years until she was forced to retire in 2021 due to the Covid virus.

“Joe & family, I am so saddened to hear of Susie’s passing. When I came to work at DVMH, as it was known then, Susie welcomed me with open arms and showed me the ropes. Ours was a close knit department & we often gathered outside the hospital to celebrate life events. Though I relocated to western PA after only 8 years there, I kept in touch with many of my colleagues, including Susie and also Joe Bley. Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of your wife, mother, & g-ma.”
