He was predeceased by: his wife Rita; and his daughter Linda Buchan Kowalyshyn. He is survived by: his daughters, Alison (Carmen) and Andrea (John); his grandchildren, Lindsey, Derrick (Gigi) and Shane Marchesani (Maryam); his daughter Olivia Vaughan; his great grandchild Brayden; his son-in-law Michael Kowalyshyn; and his siblings, Myra, Isabel, Tom (Lena), George (Jane), Alec (Maureen) and John (Karen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
