She is survived by: her children, Dennis J. Thompson (Eileen), Kevin P. Thompson (Joan), Colleen Wassum (John) and Alison Brown (Rodger); her sister Anna Bijacsko; and her friend Jean Bender. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
