He was predeceased by: his nephew Donald Hindman, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Mary Hindman (Speelman); his daughters, Anissa Howard (Tim), Stacie Trent, Denise Omcikus (George) and Ashley Campbell (Chad); his grandchildren, Nathan, Aleksey Hindman, Alexander, Molly Howard, Sophia, Byron, Myrna Trent, Gracie Omcikus, Carter and Kylie Campbell; his siblings, John Hindman, Tom Hindman (Marianne), Robert Hindman, Donald Hindman (Janet) and Karen Kuntz (Gary); and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Kreinbrook and James Speelman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church.
