He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lydia Smoker Huyard and David "Bud Huyard; his children, Wayne Huyard and Darlene Huyard Yellak; his wife Estrella Acedo Huyard; his siblings, David Huyard of Harrisonburg, Isaac Huyard (Elizabeth) of New Holland, Pennsylvania. and Ruth Huyard Esh; and his grandson Ethan Yellak. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren and a great-grandson.
