She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Benner and Mabel Benner (Winey); her husband Reuben B. Hess; and her siblings, Evelyn Benner, Robert W. Benner, Harold W. Benner, Ruth Leaman and C. Dwight Benner.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth B. (late Suzanne), J. Marlin Hess (Kay Stoltzfus) of Gordonville and C. Lorraine Hess of Leola; and her grandchildren, Brian (Jenai) and Julie (Troy Miskelley). She is also survived by two step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
