It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Alger Verghese of Leola, Pennsylvania, born in Broadway, Virginia, who passed away on March 30, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas Verghese; and her brother James Ernest Alger. She is survived by: her children, Samuel Alger Verghese (Audra Sehenuk) and Sheila Mary Verghese; her grandsons, Anthony Alan Taylor and Isaiah Drexel Taylor; and her siblings, Jerry Franklin Alger (Deborah Crawford), Bob Leroy Alger (Dorothy Dawson), Joseph Allen Alger (Dorothy Baker), Linda Schmidt (late David) and Martha Burkholder (Ray).
