It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Abner S. Esch (Leola, Pennsylvania), born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 9, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elam Esch and Lydia Stoltzfus Esch; and his siblings, Jonas, Rebecca, Jake and Leroy Esch.
He is survived by: his wife Lydia Beiler Esch; his children, Wilmer (Linda Dienner Esch), Dorothy (Elam Huyard) of Paradise, Anna Mary (Lloyd Glick), Barbie (Chester Stoltzfus) of Ronks, Ruth (Elmer Petersheim) of Lancaster and Eva (Abram Stoltzfus) of Gap; his siblings, Sarah Esch of Lancaster, Mary Esch of Lancaster, Nancy Esch of Lancaster, Lavina (Jacob Esh) of Howard, PA, Barbara (Gideon Fisher) of Newburg, John (Lydia Zook Esch) of New Providence and Elam (Mary Zook Esch) of Lancaster; and his brother-in-law Jake Ebersol of Peach Bottom. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren.
