She is survived by: her children, Joseph D. Oakes (Deborah), John I. Oakes, Jr., Mom, Kylie, Jason, Jamie, Stacy Oakes and Camille Bradford; her great grandchildren, Layla, Aundrea, Arianna, August, Samuel, Allyson and Frederick; and her daughters-in-law, Susan Steward Oakes and Patricia Chattin Bertrand.
